1) Establish your target market…..It’s much easier to market your mlm business to a group of people you can identify with. Stand up in your niche and let them know what your about, let them know that you want to help them with their financial goals.
2) Don’t stick to friends and family……For God’s sake pleeease don’t stick your friends and family. There’s a lot of opportunity for business out there you just have to be open to it. I’m not saying to bother people at malls and grocery stores either, just keep your mind open. You’d be amazed at some of the ways my buddies generate leads for their mlm businesses.
3) Choose two new marketing strategies to master…….There are hundreds of different ways out there that can bring new people your way to talk to. But simply trying one or two different things a few times then telling yourself that they don’t work isn’t exactly a recipe for success either. It takes time and practice, then you will see some results. But the point is, is to stick with it until you do see some results. Then fine tune it and and move on to something else. That’s true leverage, when you can have a strategy work for you while you’re out doing what you want to do right?
4) Personal development training…. You’ve got to work on yourself daily. Tell yourself this everyday: “The Top Leaders are Readers and The Top Earners are Learners.” Simply put, if you look at any one who’s made any significant amount of money in this industry, you can be assured that they work on their personal development daily and have the library to back it up.
5) Establish your why…… If the reason you’ve gotten involved in your mlm isn’t big enough, well then I’m sorry to tell you that you’re going to be quitting soon. Maybe you’ll jump from biz-op to biz-op for a while. Maybe you’ll bad-mouth your sponsor for not helping you. I don’t know, but without a reason to keep going when it gets a little tough, what else would you do?
6) Stay consistent….Even if you’re not seeing the results yet. I’m a testament to this because I didn’t see anything for the first two years I was in business but I didn’t slow down. I’m a very busy father of 4 with teenagers and toddlers and I’ve still found the time to build multiple blogs and web-pages. Sure some days are tougher than others to keep pushing on, but i knew the work that I did now will pay off in the long-run, and that’s part of what keeps me consistent.
7) Don’t quit……The only way you will ever fail in this business is if you quit. That might sound cliche but it’s true. The successful ones, they never quit, every single one of them.
8 8) Provide value to prospects….. Hear this now, “People Join People” not MLM’s. It’s like selling ice to Eskimos. It’s easy if they know, like, and trust you. That’s why you build a list and build relationships. That’s why up-lines tell you to go talk to your friends and family. Isn’t there someone in your life that you look up to? Wouldn’t you do or buy what they told you if they said it would help you?
